Was Our Harvey "Harry" Parkhurst in Jackson Co., Kansas 1860-1895?

I have seen our Harvey Parkhurst, who was born Feb 1837 in Fairfield, Herkimer, NY; son of Henry D & Lovina [Johnson] Parkhurst;  as being documented as the same Harvey Parkhurst who married Mary A Harrison in 1875 in Kansas.  Yes, that Harvey was born in New York also.  However, I am going to prove to you that these gentlemen are NOT the same Harvey Parkhurst's.

Yes, I did find reference where our Harvey was married prior to his wife Carrie Butterfield from the 1910 US Fed Census.  He stated that his marriage to Carrie was his 2nd.  Also, from his Civil War Registration on 1 Jul 1863 he stated he was married.  He did not marry Carrie until about 1880-82, which they both stated in the 1900 US Fed Census that they were married for 20 years, that would bring us to 1880.  But in 1910 they stated they were married for 28 years, that would bring the marriage date to about 1882 [No, I have not found record of this first wife as of yet].

So, we know our Harvey was still in New York in the 1860's because of his Civil War Registration in 1863.  In the 1870 US Fed Census our Harvey is living in Butternuts, Otsego, NY.  He has an 8 year old child, Mary J Parkhurst, living with him.  His future wife, Carrie Butterfield, is living a couple houses away.  Then his marriage to Carrie takes place between 1880-82.  His daughter Nellie was born in 1884, then his daughter Grace Louise was born in 1886.  Harvey & Carrie can be traced in the US Census up to 1920 where they both passed away soon afterward in West Winfield, Herkimer, New York; with the exception of the 1880 census - I sifted through hundreds of pages and have not located him as of yet but I haven't given up that easy - I will continue to look for him.

Plus, we get the birth dates of both Harvey's from the 1900 US Fed Census.  Our Harvey was born Feb 1837 and the Kansas Harvey was born Mar 1836.  Both Harvey's can be traced side by side through the US Fed Census records, one in New York and the other in Kansas.

So, here we have proof that our Harvey is NOT the same Harvey in Franklin, Jefferson, Kansas.  Don't forget though, he was born in New York, but he went west at an early age.  By the age 23 years he was found in Kansas along with older Parkhurst's.  I am assuming the Mary Parkhurst he was found living with in the 1860 Fed Census may be his mother and other members his siblings.  We will continue our research on that Harvey Parkhurst at a later date.

I just wanted to make sure that we document the correct information in our family genealogies and not just copy and paste what is presented before us.  Always prove "it" to yourself that the information available is valid.  If it can not be proven, document it as such.

If you have further information to share on these individuals we would love to hear about it.

Thanks for your time!

Who is Annie Irish, Wife of David Mosher (1755-1810)?

Originally our research led us to records stating that David Mosher [our maternal 6th grt grandfather], born 1755  in Dartmouth, Bristol, Mass and died 1810 possibly in Duchess County, NY, [son of David Mosher and Mehitable Allen]; was married to Annie Irish, daughter of Abner Irish and Thankful Brown.

Upon further investigation and the attention of the Mayflower Society...Abner and Thankful (Brown) Irish's daughter Anna married Reuben Wood.

We have clearly documented this in our Ancestry.com family tree file that this Annie Irish is not the daughter of Abner Irish.  If then this is the case, who's daughter is she?  Who is Annie Irish, Wife of David Mosher?

We have sifted through so many records at this point, we could really use your help!  Help!
